This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Review, draft, negotiate, and manage moderately complex SaaS agreements, MSAs, software licensing agreements, custom amendments, DPAs, BAAs, public procurement terms, and associated documents.
• Take ownership of assigned agreements throughout their entire lifecycle, encompassing input, approvals, execution, renewal, amendment, and termination.
• Coordinate contract activities during critical and time-sensitive periods, such as month-end and quarter-end cycles.
• Identify implications related to contracts, operations, regulations, security, privacy, revenue, and commercial aspects.
• Escalate high-impact issues along with options and recommendations.
• Lead negotiations with customers and facilitate internal deal discussions.
• Engage in calls and meetings as necessary.
• Collaborate with teams in Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Product, Security, Compliance, Legal Operations, and Proposals.
• Interpret industry regulations and contract terms, providing practical guidance on obligations, risks, processes, and approved alternatives.
• Maintain precise contract records, approvals, obligation transfers, and lifecycle data in Salesforce and other designated repositories.
• Provide regular updates on contract status to leadership and assigned account team members.
• Suggest or lead enhancements to templates, clause guidance, intake processes, approvals, reporting, and workflow uniformity.
• Assist team members while modeling effective workload prioritization.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Degree or Paralegal certification, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience in contract management, which includes reviewing, drafting, redlining, file management, and negotiation.
• Preferred experience within a SaaS organization in healthcare, government procurement, or a highly regulated related field.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills, including abilities in presenting, negotiating, and influencing others.
• Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities, competing deadlines, and evolving project requirements.
• Working knowledge of CRM and ERP systems, ideally Salesforce or similar platforms.
• Understanding of the data flow between sales, contracts, and finance teams.
• Ability to work independently within a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Capability to quickly learn new systems and workflows.
• Ability to handle proprietary and confidential information with discretion.
• Enthusiasm for learning and expanding one’s knowledge or skills.
• Strong work ethic characterized by integrity, honesty, collaboration, and team orientation.
• Willingness to travel as needed, up to 10%.
• Annual base salary ranging from $65,000 to $85,000 USD.
