• Oversee contracts throughout their entire lifecycle, encompassing review, negotiation, execution, and finalization.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Operations to ensure contracts are in harmony with project scope, risk assessments, and execution strategies.
• Recognize, evaluate, and communicate contractual risks, ensuring alignment with the practicalities of environmental and construction project work.
• Assist in managing insurance claims processes, which include coordination, documentation, and resolution efforts.
• Create and standardize contract management processes to enhance efficiency and consistency within the organization.
• Work closely with contractors and subcontractors to guarantee adherence to contractual obligations and performance standards.
• Facilitate vendor and subcontractor onboarding, including contract assessments and risk evaluations.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure contract terms are well understood and executed properly throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor key contract milestones, deliverables, and obligations to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Identify opportunities to optimize workflows, lessen administrative burdens, and enhance overall contract management efficiency.
• Maintain precise and organized contract documentation and reporting.
• Capable of thriving in a dynamic environment with evolving responsibilities and shifting business needs.
• 4 to 5 years of experience in contract management, ideally within environmental, construction, or similar project-based sectors.
• Experience collaborating with contractors and subcontractors in field-based settings.
• Strong knowledge of contract structures, risk distribution, and insurance/claims procedures.
• Ability to relate contract terms to operational and project risks, and effectively communicate the implications to internal stakeholders.
• Highly motivated and driven to enhance expertise in contract management and refine organizational processes.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, capable of working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced atmosphere.
