This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +5 more states.
• Supervise the daily operations of the department.
• Train, develop, and mentor team members by evaluating their needs and addressing performance and behavioral strengths and weaknesses through timely coaching feedback, performance evaluations, and corrective action plans.
• Diligently monitor team attendance, work schedules, payroll, quality assurance of tasks, and productivity records.
• Engage in the interviewing and hiring process for new team members.
• Generate statistical reports (KPI) for areas of oversight.
• Establish, maintain, review, and enforce standardized operating procedures with team members.
• Capable of preparing, completing, reviewing, and interpreting performance reports.
• Cultivate and sustain positive, effective communication with payer representatives and internal teams.
• Anticipate and address issues related to payer enrollments, payer networks, reimbursement trends, and claims challenges.
• Strategically plan, evaluate, and enhance the efficiency of business processes and procedures to improve overall effectiveness.
• Elevate customer satisfaction by understanding business needs and transforming client relationships from vendor/partner to trusted business advisor.
• Manage multiple responsibilities, analyze complex issues, and implement effective solutions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of experience in a leadership capacity, such as clinic administrator, hospital departmental manager, health plan contract manager, or team lead.
• Two years of experience in project management, including the development and implementation of training and educational programs.
• Proficiency in preparing, analyzing, and interpreting data.
• Experience in applying organizational standards when crafting resource requests, including staff and equipment.
• Preferred: Experience in health plan administration.
• Preferred: Familiarity with legal contracts.
