Contracting Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate mock contract negotiations and redlining activities, assessing AI-generated recommendations for legal precision and risk detection.

• Evaluate AI outputs related to commercial contract situations and deliver organized, actionable insights.

• Analyze SaaS agreements for clarity, adherence to regulations, and potential legal vulnerabilities.

• Partner with product and research teams to enhance training datasets, annotation criteria, and optimal practices for AI-assisted contract assessment.

• Contribute to the enhancement of the quality and dependability of AI technologies utilized in legal contracting processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-approved law school.

• Current bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in-house focusing on technology transactions.

• In-depth knowledge in the review, negotiation, and redlining of SaaS contracts.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities with a keen eye for detail.

• Strong analytical skills and the capacity to convert legal knowledge into clear, structured feedback.

• Enthusiasm for legal innovation and the integration of AI within the legal field.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in fast-paced settings.

• Previous involvement in AI, legal technology, or data annotation projects.

• Proficient in risk mitigation approaches within SaaS agreements.

• Contributions to the legal tech field through publications, speaking opportunities, or research initiatives.
