Contract Trainer for Operations Management, Data & AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Accountable for ensuring the learning success and motivation of participants in Operations Management (including Data & AI).

• Act as a coach to support and guide learners within the flipped classroom model.

• Promote active engagement with the learning material and its practical application.

• Facilitate discussions on learned content through innovative formats.

• Foster a positive learning and working atmosphere.

• Oversee the individual completion of assignments as part of project work.

• Evaluate project work.

• Contribute to the ongoing development of the product.

• Conduct teaching remotely from a home office.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of two years of professional experience in Operations Management.

• Extensive practical experience in Operations Management, operational oversight, and data-driven analysis and optimization of business processes.

• Degree, vocational training, or equivalent qualification in Business, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in Jira, Microsoft Office—particularly Excel and PowerPoint—Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics, and/or Gamma.

• Significant experience in daily operational management.

• Capability to prioritize according to available data and make decisions under time constraints.

• Professional handling of incomplete data and escalation situations.

• Practical experience with generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar applications for situation analysis, hypothesis generation, process analysis, and developing action plans.

• Understanding of the opportunities and limitations of AI usage in operational settings, along with fundamental legal and ethical considerations.

• Application must include a project overview where AI tools were utilized in Operations Management, including a brief description of the tools used and their applications.

• Experience in analyzing and optimizing operational processes and performance using KPI systems, root cause analysis, and systems thinking.

• Ability to identify interfaces, dependencies, and potential misinterpretations of data.

• Experience in leading and developing teams within data-driven environments.

• Use of KPIs in performance management, along with experience in conducting feedback and development discussions and managing conflicts.

• Experience in resource management and maintaining operational stability, particularly in forecasting, scenario planning, data-driven capacity planning, and risk management.

• Ability to assess courses of action and make make-or-automate decisions.

• Excellent command of German, the training language (C2 level).
