Contract Trainer for Operations Management, Data & AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the progress and motivation of learners in Operations Management (including Data & AI)

• Provide coaching and support to learners within a flipped-classroom setting

• Foster active engagement with learning materials and their practical implementation

• Facilitate discussions about the material learned through creative formats

• Inspire participants and maintain a positive learning and working atmosphere

• Assist learners individually as they work on assignments related to their projects

• Assess project outcomes

• Contribute to the development and ongoing enhancement of the product

• Conduct teaching remotely from a home office

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of two years of professional experience in Operations Management

• Proficient command of German, the language of instruction (C2 level)

• Substantial practical experience in Operations Management, operational management, and data-driven analysis and optimization of business processes

• Degree or vocational training in business, business administration, Operations Management, or a related qualification

• Competence in Jira, Microsoft Office—especially Excel and PowerPoint—Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics, and/or Gamma

• Significant experience in daily operational management

• Ability to prioritize tasks based on available data and make timely decisions

• Professional management of incomplete data and escalation situations

• Practical experience with generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar applications

• Understanding of the potential and limitations of AI in operational settings, along with essential legal and ethical considerations

• As part of the application, submit an overview of projects where AI tools were utilized in Operations Management

• Experience in analyzing and optimizing operational processes and performance through KPI systems, root cause analysis, and systems thinking

• Proven experience in leading and developing teams in data-driven environments

• Familiarity with performance management, including KPIs and conducting feedback and development discussions

• Professional handling of conflicts and resistance

• Experience in resource management to ensure operational stability

• Background in forecasting, scenario planning, data-driven capacity planning, and risk management

• Ability to assess various courses of action and make informed make-or-automate decisions

• Several years of experience as an online trainer in adult education
