Contract Trainer for Operations Management, Data & AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the learning outcomes and motivation of participants

• Provide guidance and support to learners as a coach within the flipped-classroom framework

• Foster active engagement with learning materials and their practical applications

• Facilitate discussions on learning outcomes using innovative methods

• Create a positive atmosphere for learning and work

• Assist learners in completing assignments individually as part of project work

• Evaluate project work

• Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the product

• Conduct teaching remotely from a home office

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of two years of professional experience in Operations Management

• Proficient in German, the training language (C2 level)

• Degree, vocational qualification, or equivalent in Business, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline

• Strong practical experience in Operations Management, operational oversight, and the data-driven analysis and optimization of business processes

• Skilled in Jira, Microsoft Office—particularly Excel and PowerPoint—Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics, and/or Gamma

• Extensive experience in daily operational management

• Capable of prioritizing based on available data and making decisions under pressure

• Professionally manage incomplete data and escalation situations

• Practical experience with generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar applications

• Awareness of the opportunities and limitations of AI in operational settings, alongside fundamental legal and ethical considerations

• Applicants are required to provide an overview of projects utilizing AI tools in Operations Management

• Experience in analyzing and optimizing operational processes and performance through KPI systems, root cause analysis, and systems thinking

• Hands-on experience in leading and developing teams in data-driven environments

• Familiarity with using KPIs in performance management and in feedback and development conversations

• Professional demeanor in managing conflict and resistance

• Experience in resource management and ensuring operational stability

• Background in forecasting, scenario planning, data-driven capacity planning, and risk management

• Ability to assess courses of action and make make-or-automate decisions

• Preferred: Several years of experience as an online trainer in adult education

• Preferred: A broad range of methods and tools in training methodology and instructional design

• Preferred: Experience in applying innovative techniques to actively engage learners

• Preferred: A modern work mindset with enthusiasm for experimenting with new learning technologies
