Contract Trainer for Operations Management, Data & AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

• Accountable for the learning success and motivation of participants.

• Providing support and guidance to learners as a coach within the flipped classroom model.

• Promoting active engagement with learning materials and their practical implementation.

• Facilitating knowledge-sharing through innovative formats.

• Creating a positive atmosphere for both learning and working.

• Overseeing the individual completion of tasks as part of project work.

• Evaluating project work.

• Assisting in the development and further enhancement of the product.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of two years of professional experience in Operations Management.

• Exceptional German language proficiency (C2), as this is the language of instruction.

• Extensive practical experience in Operations Management, operational oversight, and data-driven analysis and optimization of business processes.

• A degree or vocational training in business, business administration, or Operations Management, or an equivalent qualification.

• Proficient in Jira, Microsoft Office—particularly Excel and PowerPoint—Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics, and/or Gamma.

• Significant experience in daily operational management.

• Capability to prioritize based on available data and make decisions under time constraints.

• Professional management of incomplete data and escalation scenarios.

• Practical experience with generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar applications.

• Understanding of the opportunities and limitations of AI in operational settings, including essential legal and ethical considerations.

• Submission of an overview of projects where AI tools have been utilized in Operations Management as part of the application process.

• Experience in analyzing and optimizing operational processes and performance using KPI systems, root cause analysis, and systems thinking.

• Practical experience in leading and developing teams within data-driven environments.

• Experience with KPI-based performance management, as well as conducting feedback and development discussions.

• Professional approach to conflict resolution and managing resistance.

• Experience in resource management and ensuring operational stability, particularly in forecasting, scenario planning, data-driven capacity planning, and risk management.

• Ability to assess available options and make informed make-or-automate decisions.

• Several years of experience as an online trainer in adult education (preferred).

• A diverse range of methodological and didactic tools (preferred).

• Experience in applying innovative methods to engage learners (preferred).

• A New Work mindset and enthusiasm for exploring new learning technologies (preferred).

• Strong communication abilities and a passion for teamwork (preferred).
