This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of and implement in-game audio utilizing Unreal Engine’s integrated audio stack.
• Create and oversee interactive audio systems (adaptive music, environmental audio, tension systems, etc.)
• Develop and enhance tools, templates, and workflows to boost audio iteration and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering to incorporate audio systems and address technical challenges.
• Adjust spatial audio, occlusion, and environmental effects to enhance gameplay immersion.
• Optimize audio performance, memory consumption, and scalability across various platforms.
• Diagnose and resolve audio issues throughout the development process.
• Assist in defining and documenting best practices for audio implementation.
• Over 3 years of experience in technical sound design or audio implementation for games.
• Proficient in Unreal Engine’s native audio and Metasound Systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of interactive audio systems and real-time implementation.
• Experience collaborating closely with both creative and engineering teams.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in mixing for atmospheric horror projects.
