This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.
• Act as the primary point of contact between internal/external organizations and designated customers in the vicinity of Madison, Mississippi.
• Foster and maintain customer relationships while playing a key role in business strategy and growth initiatives.
• Create and oversee customer communication plans tailored to the site.
• Facilitate GE Vernova/customer meetings to discuss open issues, action plans, and relevant products/services.
• Manage Gas Power warranty issues and commercial aspects, including concessions.
• Handle parts planning for both outages and non-outages, including quotes, orders, delivery, and invoicing.
• Coordinate outage planning and execution while managing the process for Change Orders.
• Oversee customer invoicing and collections while supporting internal financial metrics.
• Serve as the advocate for customers within GE Vernova.
• Resolve urgent and forced outage issues efficiently.
• Ensure safe planning and execution of outages.
• Organize meetings before, during, and after outages to ensure comprehensive execution.
• Lead contract management and fulfillment, ensuring compliance with deliverables, terms and conditions, liquidated damages, and bonus structures.
• Act as a liaison between customers and project teams, facilitating the transfer of information and requests.
• Address issues, update customers on project status, and negotiate changes, variations, and solutions.
• Ensure compliance with contract service, operational, performance, financial, and technical specifications.
• Conduct proposal negotiations and contract administration with minimal oversight.
• Assist managers and senior contract personnel with assigned contracts.
• Serve as the customer liaison for contract-related matters.
• Analyze business challenges and propose practices to enhance products, processes, or services.
• Lead functional teams or projects as necessary.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college, or an Associate’s degree with 7 years of experience in the power generation sector, or a High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of experience in the power generation sector.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience and knowledge in power plant field services and/or outage management within the Power/Energy sector.
• Position available in the greater Madison, Ridgeland, and Jackson, Mississippi area.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Visa sponsorship and immigration support are not available.
• A technical/engineering bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• Experience in planning and executing outages is essential.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities are required.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills are necessary.
• Capability to analyze and resolve issues effectively.
• Proven ability to plan outages and lead programs/projects.
• Experience collaborating with customer site and leadership teams.
• Established project management expertise is essential.
• Strong leadership, financial, and commercial acumen.
• Advanced technical knowledge of gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, and planning and executing maintenance/upgrade outages.
• Experience in presenting to and managing stakeholder teams.
• Successful completion of a drug screening, when applicable.
