This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +5 more states.
• Engages in negotiations, executes, and performs high-level reviews and analyses of dispute resolution and/or settlement negotiations concerning contracts.
• Recruits providers as necessary to achieve network expansion objectives.
• Assists the health plan with expansion initiatives and other contracting activities.
• Initiates, coordinates, and oversees contracting activities to completion.
• Works collaboratively across functions to manage provider compensation and pricing development efforts.
• Offers Subject Matter Expertise for inquiries related to recruitment initiatives, contracting, and provider issues/resolutions.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare, specifically in network contracting and provider relationship management.
• 3-5 years of solid negotiation experience and complex decision-making abilities.
• Proven knowledge of the managed care sector.
• Familiarity with behavioral health topics pertinent to managed care plans.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Established ability to cultivate and sustain collaborative relationships with providers.
