This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the drafting, reviewing, and editing of contract-related documents for U.S. Government (USG) prime contracts, which includes requests for subcontracting approvals and modifications to prime awards.
• Collaborate with Program Management, Subject Matter Experts, and Finance teams to collect necessary details and documentation to facilitate timely submission of requests to funding agencies.
• Help ensure adherence to relevant regulations and the terms and conditions of prime contracts.
• Play a role in the preparation and negotiation of subawards, subcontracts, and consultant agreements, ensuring they align with the requirements of the prime award.
• Monitor and track the status of contract actions, such as approvals and modifications, to ensure that deadlines are achieved.
• Keep organized contract files and documentation to maintain audit readiness and for internal tracking purposes.
• Provide general administrative and operational assistance to the GCM team as needed.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is required.
• Experience in supporting contract management within a biomedical research and development environment is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with or experience in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), agency supplements, and/or 2 CFR 200 Uniform Guidance is preferred.
• Proven computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Word, SharePoint), Adobe Acrobat, Zoom video conferencing, and conducting internet research.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar software is preferred.
• Familiarity with Smartsheet or similar software is preferred.
• Excellent communication and diplomacy skills, including active listening, writing, and speaking.
• Strong attention to detail, capability to manage complex tasks, process information efficiently, analyze, and resolve problems; ability to work independently.
• Highly organized, adaptable, reliable, and capable of prioritizing competing demands to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate across the organization, cultivating strong relationships with colleagues across geographical distances.
