This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Leverage your classroom experience
• Integrate classroom knowledge, best pedagogical practices, and familiarity with world language instructional materials into daily activities for content area instruction with colleagues, teachers, and leaders
• Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of Carnegie Learning products and solutions, as well as their market positioning
• Keep abreast of current industry trends; proactively identify learning opportunities; acquire and implement new concepts to enhance performance; share insights with others
• Assist Carnegie Learning sales teams
• Partner strategically within a designated region to boost world language sales
• Aid in prospecting efforts in collaboration with local sales teams
• Deliver focused presentations of Carnegie Learning world language products to state and local review committees for adoptions and pilot programs
• Travel to adoption presentations to facilitate business closures
• Employ consultative selling and active listening techniques to secure business opportunities and align product offerings with customer requirements
• Provide outstanding customer service by fostering relationships, investigating issues, developing solutions, and advising management and editorial teams
• Enhance sales and customer satisfaction by curating materials, presentations, handouts, standards correlations, and more
• Collaborate Internally
• Work with the product team on special and ongoing projects
• Engage in pre-work and market studies of new instructional solutions as necessary
• Maintain knowledge of competition in the content area(s) and adjust messaging based on competitors' strengths and weaknesses
• Assist the Vice President in evaluating the effectiveness of sales activities, strategies, and tools
• Provide precise and detailed information about content and educational trends that affect revenue
• Collaborate effectively with internal team members and stakeholders, including Sales, Product, Professional Learning, and Marketing
• Bachelor's degree in world languages education
• A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in world languages is required; school administrative experience is a plus
• Previous experience with Carnegie Learning products is preferred
• Prior sales experience is preferred
• Flexibility in schedule and availability to travel on short notice, particularly during the school year
• Basic understanding of school and district infrastructure, including technology environments and management systems; stays updated with current trends
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Adobe and other design software, as well as Google applications
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills
