Content Specialist – Sports

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malta.

📋 Description

• Strategize sports content around weekly fixtures, significant tournaments, and key events throughout the year.

• Recognize relevant content opportunities by leveraging sports expertise, search demand, and performance metrics.

• Create content strategies and comprehensive briefs for writers.

• Edit and assess content for precision, relevance, language, and editorial alignment.

• Ensure coverage reflects a genuine understanding of UK betting markets and the broader sporting calendar.

• Collaborate with the SEO team to enhance existing pages and identify new opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of UK football, encompassing the Premier League, domestic competitions, and major European tournaments.

• Familiarity with other key UK sports and events.

• Background in sports publishing, sports betting, affiliate content, or a comparable editorial setting.

• Exceptional written English and robust editing capabilities.

• Experience in crafting content plans and briefs, along with coordinating writers or freelancers.

• Understanding of UK gambling content and compliance regulations is a plus.
