Content Moderator, Bilingual English/German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Evaluate, interpret, and apply relevant guidelines to user-generated text, images, and videos within a queue setting.

• Analyze performance feedback to reduce coding mistakes and achieve or surpass performance targets.

• Participate in scheduled and as-needed individual coaching sessions.

• Check in on non-working days.

• Work between 16 and 29 hours weekly depending on content demand.

• Utilize Google Applications, Slack, online communication tools, and forums to manage performance expectations.

• Complete online training modules and exams, attend virtual coaching sessions, and engage in live hands-on moderation hours.

• Undertake occasional special projects in both English and German.

• Conduct quality assurance reviews of teammates’ and machine-moderated content.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent international qualification, or 7+ years of professional content moderation experience.

• Professional working proficiency in English and advanced proficiency in German, both written and spoken.

• Must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States.

• Candidates must live in Texas, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, North Carolina, or Ohio.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a fast-paced office environment.

• Ability to quickly read, understand, evaluate content, and make immediate decisions.

• Comfortable learning and utilizing new web-based applications and tools.

• Ability to interact with team members in a remote setting.

• Commitment to meeting or exceeding performance goals and metrics.

• Availability for a semi-flexible weekly schedule of 16–29 hours, including 4 hours on the weekend.

• Willingness to conduct quality assurance checks on teammates’ and machine-moderated content.

• Access to a computer with an updated operating system, a current smartphone, reliable high-speed internet, and a functioning home office setup.
