This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Create and develop content that enhances marketing initiatives, product rollouts, and organizational goals.
• Examine industry trends, customer issues, and new technologies to discover fresh content possibilities.
• Collaborate with internal experts to generate technically accurate and compelling content.
• Establish content calendars that correspond with product priorities, campaigns, and strategic objectives.
• Maintain consistent messaging across all platforms while ensuring alignment with the brand voice.
• Produce a variety of materials including blog posts, white papers, case studies, eBooks, web and product pages, email campaigns, sales enablement resources, webinar presentations, social media posts, press releases, and industry reports.
• Distill complex technical concepts for audiences including decision-makers, IT leaders, security experts, and public sector stakeholders.
• Develop messaging that effectively conveys the value of Portage CyberTech’s solutions.
• Create content focused on digital identity, digital trust, cybersecurity, digital signatures, and citizen identity management.
• Generate customer materials for every phase of the buying journey.
• Translate technical product features into tangible business outcomes and customer benefits.
• Support product launches with coordinated campaign content and resources.
• Craft SEO-optimized content for the website and blogs.
• Perform keyword research and enhance existing content to boost organic visibility.
• Work together with the digital marketing team on content promotion strategies.
• Monitor engagement, performance, lead generation, and conversion metrics.
• Utilize analytics and customer insights to refine content strategies.
• Report on performance and suggest optimization opportunities.
• 2–3+ years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, journalism, communications, or B2B marketing.
• Outstanding writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
• Experience in creating both long-form and short-form content across various digital channels.
• Capability to simplify intricate technical concepts into engaging, business-centric content.
• Experience conducting interviews with subject-matter experts and converting those discussions into compelling marketing materials.
• Comprehensive understanding of content marketing, inbound marketing, and buyer journey development.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization strategies.
• Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency in marketing automation and customer relationship management (CRM) platforms is a plus.
• Background in B2B technology, cybersecurity, SaaS, government technology, or enterprise software is advantageous.
• Bilingual candidates are preferred; English is required, and intermediate French is accepted.
• Preference will be given to candidates fluent in both English and French.
