This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the strategy for editorial content and establish thought leadership.
• Own the editorial vision and long-term content strategy for TimelyCare.
• Identify and manage strategic discussions in higher education, healthcare, mental health, AI, and the future of care.
• Develop ongoing editorial franchises, signature content series, and narrative themes that set the brand apart.
• Convert customer insights, original research, and executive expertise into impactful thought leadership.
• Conduct interviews with executives, customers, clinicians, and industry experts to reveal authentic narratives.
• Create content that audiences actively seek out, rather than content that merely fills a schedule.
• Build a content operation that leverages AI.
• Design, establish, and continually enhance TimelyCare's content operating system, which includes editorial planning, governance, AI-enabled workflows, production processes, content lifecycle management, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Utilize AI for research, drafting, editing, repurposing, and content production while upholding editorial quality.
• Establish prompt libraries, governance standards, editorial quality assurance, and scalable human review procedures.
• Transform a single strategic idea into a variety of high-quality content formats across different channels.
• Assess emerging AI tools and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Convert customer insights into storytelling.
• Conduct customer interviews to discover behavioral insights, trust drivers, and decision journeys.
• Use behavioral science and jobs-to-be-done research to inform messaging and content strategy.
• Simplify complex healthcare and higher education topics into engaging, human-focused narratives.
• Create content that resonates with students, campus leaders, and executive decision-makers.
• Drive distribution across multiple channels.
• Develop integrated distribution strategies for owned, earned, social, executive, and partner channels.
• Collaborate with PR and Social leads to enhance executive thought leadership through LinkedIn, newsletters, podcasts, PR, and community partnerships.
• Maximize reach by strategically repurposing content across various formats and audiences.
• Develop original research and intellectual property.
• Identify opportunities for proprietary research and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create studies, benchmark reports, surveys, and data-driven insights that enhance TimelyCare's market authority.
• Produce annual reports, student mental health indices, benchmark studies, surveys, and research on AI and well-being.
• Use original research to support SEO, PR, executive thought leadership, sales enablement, and demand generation.
• Elevate executive storytelling.
• Collaborate with executive leaders to establish recognizable thought leadership platforms.
• Ghostwrite articles, opinion pieces, keynote presentations, executive communications, and social media content.
• Convert complex expertise into relatable, accessible stories that foster credibility and trust.
• Measure content impact.
• Create a measurable content marketing system focused on business results.
• Monitor and optimize KPIs such as share of voice, brand search, influenced pipeline, executive engagement, assisted conversions, audience growth, returning readership, and content engagement.
• Perform content audits and provide actionable performance insights to leadership.
• Establish scalable content processes and undertake additional tasks and projects as needed to support the evolving objectives of the team and company goals.
• 5+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial strategy, journalism, or thought leadership within B2B SaaS, healthcare, higher education, technology, or mission-driven organizations.
• Proven track record of developing editorial strategies that enhance brand authority and deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Exceptional skills in writing, editing, interviewing, and storytelling across various formats.
• Experience in translating customer research, executive insights, and complex topics into engaging content.
• Demonstrated ability to create AI-enabled content workflows and utilize generative AI to enhance content operations.
• Experience in developing executive thought leadership programs and ghostwriting for senior leaders.
• Strong knowledge of content distribution strategies across LinkedIn, newsletters, PR, podcasts, social media, SEO, and owned channels.
• Experience in creating original research, proprietary content, surveys, reports, or initiatives based on data-driven storytelling.
• Strong understanding of content performance measurement, attribution, audience engagement, and marketing analytics.
• Experience working collaboratively with Brand, Creative, Communications, Product Marketing, Sales, and executive stakeholders.
• Preference for experience in the healthcare, mental health, education, future of work, or technology sectors.
• Background in editorial organizations, journalism, or publications is a plus.
