This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
• Conduct research on requested course materials, accurately identifying each item, and routing it for appropriate action.
• Execute daily workflows to process and route course materials while assessing availability for customers making requests.
• Recognize content gaps and explore new publishers to facilitate course adoption requests.
• Analyze catalog records, ensuring complete, accurate, and easily discoverable metadata across various systems, channels, and users.
• Identify gaps in metadata and collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Inventory teams to address them.
• Suggest and work collaboratively on initiatives aimed at strengthening the catalog and enhancing workflow efficiency.
• Collaborate with Product teams to escalate projects that support global catalog optimization.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• A Bachelor's degree or an advanced degree in library science, business analysis, information studies, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel at an advanced level.
• Previous experience with business intelligence tools and dashboards, such as Metabase and Looker.
• Willingness to travel up to approximately 25%, depending on business requirements.
• Capacity to exercise sound judgment, sensitivity, and creativity in response to evolving needs and situations.
• Capability to work independently in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Skill in executing and leveraging opportunities during peak course start periods.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication abilities.
• Proficiency in working cross-functionally and collaborating with stakeholders across various teams and organizational levels.
• Competence in manipulating and analyzing large data sets to derive actionable insights.
• Ability to summarize extensive data and findings clearly and concisely.
• Enthusiasm and aptitude for learning new tools and technologies, including AI-powered platforms.
• Ability to integrate new knowledge, technology, and procedures into job responsibilities.
• Preferred: Familiarity with product development processes and tools such as Atlassian Confluence and JIRA.
• Preferred: Interest and aptitude in utilizing Salesforce, Slack, Zoom, and other web-based or proprietary applications.
