Content Editor, Partnerships

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main editor for our sports content that is distributed to external partner websites.

• Develop detailed content calendars and collaborate with staff and freelance writers to ensure articles are delivered on time.

• Format and edit high-quality articles for publication, while keeping SEO best practices, affiliate partner conversions, and subscription product growth in consideration.

• Function as the key point of contact between our brand and partner site editors and writers to enable smooth content syndication and integration.

• Stay actively engaged with sports and sports betting markets to proactively propose and create content that resonates with readers, rather than simply responding to news.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in writing and/or editing articles within a digital media setting (with an emphasis on long-form articles rather than social media content).

• A robust understanding of SEO and effective distribution of digital content across various platforms today.

• Excellent copy-editing skills along with the communication and management capabilities necessary to coordinate multiple external contributors (without direct reports).

• A genuine enthusiasm for sports and a strong comprehension of sports betting markets.

• Basic knowledge of HTML.

• Preferred: Experience working on websites that do not rely on traditional advertising, particularly in converting users to affiliate partners or subscription products.
