This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the editorial calendar: Develop, sustain, and implement a weekly and quarterly content calendar that aligns with company objectives.
• Create and refine content: Generate and edit content across various formats and channels, including blogs, executive thought leadership pieces, customer stories, product narratives, and company announcements.
• Simplify complexity into engaging narratives: Transform intricate AI, legal, and business subjects into clear, captivating, and customer-oriented content.
• Establish and uphold editorial standards: Ensure all content adheres to high standards of accuracy, clarity, tone, structure, and consistency across all channels.
• Perform research: Independently investigate topics, validate claims, and distill information into coherent narratives.
• Utilize a customer-first perspective: Ensure content addresses genuine customer inquiries, pain points, and industry trends.
• Collaborate across departments: Work closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and executives to gather stories and synchronize messaging.
• Foster thought leadership: Assist in crafting executive and company narratives that position EvenUp as a frontrunner in AI and legal technology.
• Manage narrative intelligence: Monitor industry trends, media coverage, customer discussions, and competitive positioning to pinpoint areas where EvenUp should lead or proactively engage in conversations.
• Evaluate performance: Track content performance and adjust editorial strategy based on results and audience engagement.
• Outstanding writing and editing abilities, capable of transforming complex concepts into clear, concise, and engaging content.
• Strong research skills, critical thinking, and editorial judgment.
• Over 8 years of demonstrated experience in creating original content and identifying pertinent stories, trends, and topics relevant to our audience.
• Experience in developing and managing editorial calendars linked to business and marketing objectives.
• Customer-first approach with an emphasis on clarity, usefulness, and avoiding unnecessary jargon.
• High standards and meticulous attention to detail, producing consistently polished and accurate work.
• Capability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt swiftly in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration and partnering with senior leaders to craft clear, compelling messaging.
• Background in covering technology, AI, business strategy, innovation, or emerging industries.
• Working knowledge of AI concepts and a strong interest in the field, with the ability to quickly learn and translate complexity into accessible narratives.
