Container Security Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate effectively with fellow Sylabs developers and personnel from partner organizations to create new container capabilities focused on confidential computing.

• Contribute to the upkeep and release of both open-source and commercial products.

• Support the integration of new products into current infrastructure, identifying challenges and gaps as opportunities to enhance Sylabs offerings.

• Stay updated on developments impacting the security of containerized workflows, both beneficially and detrimentally.

• Engage in open-source communities related to container security.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in software development and deployment.

• Proficiency in software development using Go and/or Rust, especially in relation to software containers and/or cloud-native software development.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities, with a willingness to tackle complex customer support challenges.

• Comprehensive understanding of cloud-native container technologies from a user’s perspective.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a remote team.
