Contact Center Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +15 more states.

📋 Description

• Respond to incoming calls to assist with hurricane disaster relief requirements.

• Act as a primary contact for individuals seeking disaster assistance registration.

• Engage with callers with patience, tact, and courtesy to assess their needs and provide relevant instructions or referrals.

• Input data into a Windows-based database while adhering to guidelines and conducting scripted interviews.

• Offer phone numbers and agency referrals for relevant secondary support organizations and assistance.

• Redirect dissatisfied callers to the appropriate channels.

• Uphold professionalism and excellent communication skills in reading, writing, and verbal interactions.

• Adhere to scheduled operational hours from 8 am to 8 pm EST, seven days a week.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification is mandatory.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• A minimum of 6 months experience in a customer service-related role.

• Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.

• High-speed broadband internet connection with at least 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speeds.

• Satellite internet connections are not permitted.

• Access to an Ethernet cable; Wi-Fi-only connections are not allowed.

• A private and secure home workspace that is free from noise and distractions.

• Availability to work during operational hours from 8 am to 8 pm EST, Monday through Sunday.

• A background investigation, Security/EQIP clearance, drug screening, and skills assessments may be necessary.

• Capability to sit for extended periods and occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 10 pounds.
