Consultor/a Service Now

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Manage users, groups, roles, ACL, SLA, and assignment rules within ServiceNow.

• Implement customized service catalogs for incidents, change requests, and defects.

• Customize instances using JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs.

• Develop email and REST integrations.

• Create proprietary modules, including tables, indexes, menus, workflows, ACL, and scripts.

• Design and implement tailored workflows.

• Maintain instances through update sets, version upgrades, and cloning.

• Generate reports.

• Implement and manage MID servers for Discovery.

• Create schedules, behaviors, clusters, and classifiers.

• Maintain the CMDB and its status.

• Integrate ServiceNow Discovery with other solutions.

• Participate in CMDB management, Discovery, Service Mapping, automation, and integration initiatives.

• Contribute to the enhancement and optimization of IT services in corporate environments.

• Collaborate with a technology consulting firm to improve business profitability through efficient use of information technology.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in managing and evolving ServiceNow platforms.

• Ability to understand, modify, and create object-oriented JavaScript.

• Proficiency in Unix Shell scripting, Windows scripting, and server-side PowerShell.

• Knowledge of CCNA networking: routing protocols, TCP/UDP, IP transit diagnosis, subnetting, and IP packet analysis.

• Experience in server administration on Linux and Windows platforms.

• Understanding of domain structures, user permissions, group policy objects, and SUDO policies.

• Familiarity with business applications and functionality within the ITIL model.

• General knowledge of IT infrastructure topology.

• Understanding of the ServiceNow CSDM model.

• Experience in leading teams.

• Strong communication skills.

• Knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, ITSM, ITOM, ACL, Service Catalog, and SECOPS.

• Experience with ServiceNow Glide APIs.

• Development and maintenance of Script Includes and Business Rules in ServiceNow.

• Experience with Unix Shell scripting, PowerShell, and Batch Script.

• Basic administration of Active Directory.

• Knowledge of LDAP.

• Administration of services on Windows.

• ServiceNow certification: System Administration.

• ServiceNow certification: Discovery.

• ServiceNow certification: Service Mapping.

• Course in ServiceNow Fundamentals.

• Course in ServiceNow Discovery Fundamentals.

• Courses in CMDB & CSDM Fundamentals.

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
