This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
β’ Provide advice to healthcare executives regarding managed care strategies, value-based care transformation, reimbursement optimization, and financial performance between payers and providers.
β’ Oversee healthcare economics analyses and financial modeling to evaluate contract performance, risk exposure, reimbursement sufficiency, and opportunities for value-based incentives.
β’ Ensure client engagement success through executive advisory services, strategic recommendations, thought leadership, and business development initiatives.
β’ Manage and guide teams in intricate performance improvement projects while guaranteeing successful client results.
β’ Utilize analytical and critical thinking skills to quantify advantages, recognize risks, and formulate performance enhancement solutions.
β’ Engage with clients to comprehend their challenges, craft tailored solutions, manage expectations, and present proposals.
β’ Cultivate strong relationships and spearhead change processes in complex settings.
β’ Collaborate with Huron and client senior leaders to design and execute intricate, sustainable solutions.
β’ Promote lasting client relationships, networking, ongoing business development, and sales opportunities.
β’ A bachelor's degree is required in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, Public Health, Business, or a related discipline.
β’ At least 8 years of consulting and/or performance improvement experience in healthcare, with a focus on healthcare economics, managed care, value-based care, provider reimbursement, and payer strategy.
β’ Experience in evaluating and advising clients on managed care contract performance, encompassing contract profitability, reimbursement sufficiency, risk-sharing arrangements, quality incentive programs, and network optimization strategies.
β’ Proven experience in leading complex healthcare analytics and modeling projects, including HCC risk adjustment, RAF optimization, clinical risk stratification, cost trend analysis, utilization management, and population health management.
β’ Capability to convert intricate financial, actuarial, and healthcare economics concepts into actionable insights for executive leadership, clinical stakeholders, and payer organizations.
β’ Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams, managing client engagements, nurturing executive-level relationships, and driving strategic transformation efforts in complex healthcare environments.
β’ Willingness to travel based on client, enterprise, or project requirements.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
β’ US Work Authorization is required.
β’ A masterβs degree is preferred.
β’ Experience in a matrixed organization or cross-functional team setting is preferred.
