Consultant, Various Industries

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the workstream lead and/or project manager to assess data, analyze outcomes, and formulate recommendations and strategic plans for the designated workstream or area.

• Conduct studies, analyze data, and evaluate results to pinpoint performance deficiencies, working to create and execute interventions across various industrial and support processes, including production, maintenance, reliability, supply chain, sanitation, finance, accounting, and/or management systems.

• Develop and implement targeted change strategies that encompass the identification of impacts on people, processes, policies, and organizational structures, stakeholder identification and alignment, effective communication and feedback mechanisms, success metrics, training, and long-term sustainability.

• Mentor front-line leaders and hourly shop floor employees regarding newly implemented processes, systems, and tools.

• Foster collaborative relationships with the leadership team and assist in the integration of colleagues and new hires.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, or related fields is mandatory; an MBA or advanced degree in a relevant discipline is highly preferred.

• Possession of relevant professional certifications (e.g., P.E., Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt) is required.

• At least 2 years of consulting or industry experience is necessary, with a preference for consulting experience.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Manufacturing, Engineering, or Operations Environment, Consulting, or Industry, such as Chemicals, Consumer Goods/Food & Beverages, or Energy.

• Proficiency with Continuous Improvement Tools, including Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies.

• Capability to interpret financial statements and profit & loss reports.
