This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Take ownership of workstreams throughout technology advisory projects — from structuring problems and conducting analysis to making recommendations and securing executive approval.
• Evaluate and develop enterprise and solution architectures: performing current-state assessments, creating target-state blueprints, formulating cloud adoption strategies, rationalizing application portfolios, and making build-vs-buy decisions.
• Design technology operating models: defining organizational and team structures, implementing platform and product-centric delivery, establishing governance frameworks, sourcing strategies, and understanding the interconnections between architecture, security, and delivery functions.
• Analyze and enhance SDLC and engineering practices: conducting delivery maturity assessments, implementing agile and hybrid delivery approaches, focusing on quality engineering, and managing releases.
• Provide guidance on DevOps and platform engineering: including CI/CD practices, infrastructure as code, DevSecOps, developer experience, and managing cloud costs — engaging credibly alongside the client's engineering teams.
• Transform analysis into actionable decisions: create structured, executive-level storylines and presentations, lead workshops, and deliver recommendations directly to C-suite executives.
• Contribute to the growth of Exerizon: refine our methodologies and assets, publish insights, support proposal efforts, and mentor junior team members.
• 2–5 years of experience in technology consulting or advisory, including roles at Big4 firms, strategy consulting, or in-house architecture/transformation positions with similar exposure.
• Proven delivery experience in at least one of our key focus areas: architecture, operating model design, SDLC enhancement, or DevOps/platform engineering.
• Familiarity with contemporary delivery methods: agile at scale and its challenges, product operating models, platform teams, CI/CD toolchains, and the characteristics of effective engineering.
• Strong analytical abilities — capable of structuring ambiguous problems, rigorously evaluating vendor claims, and justifying recommendations with evidence.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills: ability to construct structured written arguments, create polished executive slides, and confidently present to senior audiences.
• Full professional proficiency in both Polish and English.
• Preferred qualifications include:
• Knowledge of architectural practices and frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, C4).
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP) at an architectural level.
• Relevant certifications (TOGAF, cloud architect pathways, SAFe/Scrum).
• Experience in sectors such as banking, insurance, or healthcare, including familiarity with reference standards (BIAN, ACCORD, HL7).
• Direct engagement with C-level clients and significant influence over project outcomes — without a cumbersome multi-layer review process.
• Competitive remuneration on a B2B contract basis.
• Annual budget for training and certification.
• Fully remote work arrangement with the option to utilize a central office in Warsaw as needed.
• Opportunity to actively participate in shaping a young firm: contributing to methods, offerings, recruitment, and organizational culture.
