Consultant – Systems Integration, Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and support integrations between APIs, web services, databases, ERP systems, and business applications.

• Create scripts and automation processes for extracting, transforming, validating, and synchronizing data across various systems.

• Develop and maintain integrations utilizing REST APIs, SOAP services, SQL queries, and file-based data exchanges such as JSON, XML, and CSV.

• Collaborate directly with clients to gather business and technical requirements, comprehend system architecture, and establish integration specifications.

• Conduct data mapping and transformation between source and target systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integration, connectivity, performance, and data quality.

• Engage in client meetings, workshops, requirements sessions, and implementation activities.

• Provide assistance with integration architecture, solution design, and technical recommendations.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including integration designs, data mappings, API specifications, testing plans, and support procedures.

• Support testing, deployment, and post-implementation activities.

• Work collaboratively with project managers, developers, solution architects, business analysts, and client stakeholders to deliver effective integration solutions.

• Ensure that solutions comply with security, compliance, and data governance requirements.

• Monitor and maintain production integrations, identifying opportunities for optimization and automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• 1–3 years of experience in systems integration, software development, data analysis, application support, or a similar technical role.

• Experience with APIs and web services.

• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, Bash, or comparable technologies.

• Proven experience in writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.

• Understanding of common data formats, including JSON, XML, CSV, and other structured data formats.

• Basic knowledge of data integration, ETL processes, and application connectivity.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to interact directly with clients and business stakeholders.

• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
