Consultant – Professional Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Lead comprehensive implementations of Caseware accounting and assurance solutions, encompassing requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.

• Serve as the primary authority on solutions for designated client engagements, offering expert advice on Caseware functionalities, best practices, and optimizing accounting workflows.

• Convert client business and regulatory requirements into scalable, compliant Caseware configurations that adhere to relevant accounting standards and firm methodologies.

• Manage client relationships and act as a trusted advisor to customer stakeholders throughout the entire implementation process.

• Supervise project execution and ensure delivery quality on non-enterprise projects, which includes scope management, risk identification, issue resolution, and compliance with timelines, budgets, and service standards.

• Collaborate with Product, Support, and Engineering teams to escalate issues, provide product feedback, and guarantee successful outcomes for clients.

• Mentor and offer technical leadership to associate consultants and members of the implementation team.

• Conduct client training and change management initiatives to facilitate user adoption, process transformation, and long-term value realization.

• Assist in pre-sales activities and solution scoping through proposals, solution demonstrations, effort estimations, and defining implementation approaches.

• Continuously enhance implementation methodologies and resources.

• Report directly to the Director of Professional Services.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in external audit, assurance, or accounting within a public accounting or professional services firm, or equivalent qualifying experience as specified in the posting.

• Proven experience in providing consultative advice to clients, including understanding business requirements and offering recommendations.

• Comfortable utilizing and acquiring knowledge of accounting, audit, and financial reporting technology solutions.

• Previous experience with Caseware is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Experience in supporting software implementations, which includes requirements gathering, solution configuration, testing, training, and go-live assistance.

• Demonstrated ability to manage client stakeholders and serve as a trusted advisor throughout client engagements.

• Proven track record of owning delivery outcomes, including scope, quality, risk, and timelines, with minimal supervision.

• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and documentation skills in a professional services context.

• Capability to mentor and contribute to the development of team skills.

• Successful candidates must undergo a background check, except for those residing in the Netherlands and Germany.
