Consultant Neurologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional care to patients seeking medical cannabis treatment.

• Conduct consultations with patients, including assessments and ongoing management.

• Evaluate and determine the appropriateness of cannabis-based treatment.

• Oversee patient care following treatment decisions.

• Assist in the collection of clinical outcome data to promote evidence-based practices.

• Uphold clinical governance and maintain high standards of patient care.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of nurses and pharmacists.

• Engage in continuous training and development, including specialized training in cannabis-based medicines.

• Concentrate on prescribing and patient care while nurses and pharmacists manage pre-consultation and follow-up prescribing duties.

⛳️ Requirements

• Full GMC Registration.

• Completion of Specialist Training (CCST/CCT) or equivalent qualification.

• Listed on the GMC Specialist Register for Neurology.

• A genuine interest in alternative therapies.

• Willingness to engage in data collection and reporting.

• Minimum commitment of 2 sessions per week (8 hours) initially.

• Appointments are 15 minutes for both new and existing patients.

• Legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
