Consultant – Data Protection, AI & Information Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to clients on the operational and strategic execution of the GDPR.

• Serve as an external Data Protection Officer (or deputy) when required.

• Assist organizations in the lawful implementation of AI solutions.

• Evaluate tools for compliance with data protection laws and requirements, including the AI Act.

• Prepare Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).

• Perform external audits.

• Create practical data protection policies and frameworks.

• Facilitate workshops and coaching sessions to enhance awareness regarding the secure management of sensitive data.

• Establish and audit Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).

• Lead IT compliance projects related to these areas.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant professional experience as a Data Protection Consultant, Privacy Manager, or IT Compliance Consultant.

• Relevant certifications, such as DSB TÜV/DEKRA or CIPP/E, are advantageous.

• Strong interest in IT and technology, especially AI technologies, cloud architectures, and their compliant usage.

• Solution-oriented and methodical approach, paired with a proactive hands-on mentality.

• Exceptional communication skills and a professional demeanor in client interactions.

• Team-oriented individual.

• Proficient in German and have a good command of English.

• Familiarity with IT security standards, such as ISO 27001, TISAX, and NIS2, is beneficial.
