This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.
• Lead a workstream(s) within a project engagement by planning, organizing, and overseeing all facets of delivery, including scope, quality, resources, risk, and timelines.
• Take responsibility for the complete design, development, and delivery of project outcomes that align with specific project goals and objectives.
• Identify and proactively address challenges faced by the Client.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for the Client regarding operational project inquiries, fostering trusted relationships with Client stakeholders through both in-person and remote interactions.
• Oversee the work and priorities of Associate Consultants within your workstream.
• Provide support and mentorship to Associates, aiding in their skill and professional development.
• Exhibit a capacity for quickly assimilating new knowledge.
• Demonstrate strong business acumen.
• Stay informed about new advancements in advisory services capabilities and industry trends.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and proposals.
• Assist in the creation and dissemination of thought leadership.
• Bachelor's degree with an outstanding academic record.
• Over 3 years of experience in management consulting.
• Background in Life Sciences, particularly in Commercial Operations/Commercial Excellence or consulting within this sector.
• Strong understanding of Commercial, with in-depth expertise in two or more of the following areas: multi-channel strategy and optimization, product launch, go-to-market strategy, commercial model design, key account planning and management, segmentation and targeting, insight and analytics, and brand strategy.
• Familiarity with commercial/marketing technology and how business consulting services can leverage and support these technologies.
• Knowledge of the business capabilities and drivers that underpin digital technology in Health and Life Sciences, as well as the market forces and trends influencing industry changes.
• Proven analytical and data science skills, with the ability to assess problems both quantitatively and qualitatively and effectively communicate solutions across various issues.
• A proactive problem-solving approach: anticipating challenges early, analyzing them, and finding solutions proactively.
• Highly developed project management abilities.
• Proficient in facilitating collaboration among team members.
• Capable of working effectively with individuals at all organizational levels and establishing credibility swiftly.
• Possess a strong personal impact with the ability to influence and persuade a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Japanese.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50%, subject to variations based on engagement/environment.
• A valid working Visa for Japan is required.
