This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Vice President of Consultant Relations is a senior position tasked with advancing bswift’s national strategy for consultant engagement and acting as the primary executive contact for some of the most prominent benefits brokers, consultants, and third-party evaluators in the industry.
• This leader will be instrumental in driving new revenue growth by ensuring that bswift’s value proposition is consistently represented in evaluations and RFP processes led by consultants.
• Lead the consultant relations strategy with direct responsibility for pipeline contribution and revenue influenced through opportunities driven by consultants.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership to establish measurable growth objectives for opportunities sourced from consultants and track progress against these goals.
• Shape the RFP win strategy, ensuring that bswift’s competitive differentiation is clearly articulated, compelling, and consistently positioned.
• Work together with Executive Leadership, Sales, Client Services, Product, and Marketing to implement coordinated and impactful strategies for consultant engagement.
• Provide market insights and competitive intelligence to guide the product roadmap, sales strategy, and marketing positioning.
• Serve as the internal advocate for the consultant community, ensuring that business priorities are aligned with external expectations.
• Represent bswift at significant industry conferences, events, and forums, reinforcing brand leadership and enhancing consultant relationships.
• Organize events with regional brokers and consultants to foster relationships and elevate bswift's brand visibility.
• Present executive-level communications and presentations to consultants, articulating bswift’s vision, innovation roadmap, and strategic direction.
• Establish bswift as a trusted advisor and thought leader within the benefits administration sector.
• Oversee consultant communications, maintain CRM/database accuracy, and ensure reporting is in place to make engagement measurable and scalable.
• Continuously enhance RFP process efficiency and consultant engagement workflows to maximize growth impact.
• Act as bswift’s executive sponsor for top-tier national consultant and broker firms, ensuring bswift is recognized as a premier partner in benefits administration.
• Expand reach by developing and sustaining senior-level relationships with mid- and emerging-tier firms to boost market influence and distribution opportunities.
• 12+ years of experience in consultant relations, broker engagement, client service, or strategic relationship management in the realms of benefits administration, insurance, or HR technology, with proven revenue impact.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in Benefit Administration.
• Demonstrated capability to design and implement a national consultant engagement strategy aligned with pipeline and revenue goals.
• A solid history of building executive-level relationships with national consultant and broker firms that result in measurable business growth.
• Comprehensive understanding of benefits administration, healthcare, and the broker/consultant ecosystem.
• Exceptional executive presence, influencing abilities, and proficiency in conveying complex strategies to senior stakeholders.
• Strong financial and business acumen with experience connecting consultant engagement to sales growth.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% to meet with consultant partners and participate in industry events.
