Consultant Adult Psychiatrist – ADHD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development of an Adult ADHD prescribing pathway.

• Provide guidance on enhancing the adult ADHD prescribing pathway and streamlining prescriber workflows.

• Aid in the creation of Paloma’s internal electronic patient record system.

• Facilitate the safe and efficient collection of necessary monitoring information.

• Oversee clinical activities of both medical and non-medical Adult ADHD prescribers.

• Collaborate with the Medical Director to ensure strong governance practices.

• Support the rollout of the Adult ADHD assessment and treatment pathway upon readiness.

• Assist with clinical audits and Clinical Governance initiatives.

• Manage complex cases that arise within the prescribing team.

• Conduct a limited caseload of ADHD annual reviews and prescribing responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Consultant (post-CCT) Adult Psychiatrist.

• GMC-registered Consultant Adult Psychiatrist listed on the Specialist Register.

• Proficient in best practices for ADHD prescribing.

• Experience in supporting the transition from child to adult services.

• Minimum of 6 months' experience in Adult ADHD.

• Must complete a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
