
Construction Project Manager – EV Charging

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.
• Oversee assigned projects and coordinate the project team effectively.
• Maintain appropriate communication with clients.
• Manage and oversee project scope, costs, and scheduling objectives.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate all elements of project schedule, scope, and budget.
• Implement value engineering by identifying cost-saving opportunities and validating material replacements.
• Engage with and manage project stakeholders efficiently.
• Develop the Project Management Plan along with the fee budget/proposal at the initiation of the project.
• Assess project documents and relay client goals and expectations to the project team.
• Create and communicate action plans throughout the duration of the project.
• Collaborate with the cost management team on cost estimates, cost analyses, actual job cost evaluations, and budget reconciliations.
• Facilitate permitting processes with local, state, and federal agencies.
• Ensure design management adheres to client budgets, scope, timelines, and design standards.
• Generate cost and revenue forecasts.
• Proven experience in managing the construction of intricate electrical or industrial projects.
• Willingness to travel semi-locally a couple of days each week.
• Proficiency in preparing Project Management Plans and fee/budget proposals.
• Experience in developing and executing action plans.
• Capability to monitor project scope and suggest necessary adjustments.
• Skill in preparing and articulating cost and revenue projections.
• Understanding of permitting processes and the ability to adhere to project timelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, engineering, or construction management.
• Preferred certifications include: CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, LEED.
