This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Overseeing construction operations
β’ Conducting inspections and construction observations
β’ Ensuring compliance with cultural and environmental standards
β’ Monitoring contract adherence across various landscapes throughout the United States
β’ Extended travel is required for many assignments
β’ Must hold a Professional Engineer registration; or possess a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering or a related discipline, along with three years of on-site project management experience
β’ A minimum of 10 years of experience as an on-site Construction Inspector, including at least one year in a Project Engineer or Manager role
β’ Capability to interpret transportation construction contracts, specifications, and plans
β’ Proficient in using computer software applications such as Microsoft Word, One Note, Outlook, Excel, and project scheduling tools
β’ Familiarity with context-sensitive design principles; safety and labor regulations; value engineering strategies; quality control/quality assurance practices; traffic management; materials, and construction techniques
β’ Experience with on-site construction inspection services in environmentally sensitive areas, such as National Forests, Fish and Wildlife Refuges, and National Parks
