Construction Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the complete management of construction for extensive EV charging infrastructure projects, encompassing both light- and heavy-duty fleet locations.

• Supervise projects that include greenfield and brownfield development, building renovations or demolitions, and on-site energy assets such as battery energy storage, solar photovoltaic systems, and low-emission generators.

• Control project timelines, budgets, contracts, and change management processes throughout the entire project lifecycle.

• Collaborate with engineering firms, contractors, vendors, and internal subject matter experts to facilitate project development and execution.

• Track project progress and relay updates to leadership and stakeholders through consistent reporting and project management meetings.

• Identify and address risks or issues that may affect project schedules, costs, or quality.

• Create and maintain comprehensive construction budget forecasts and project timelines.

• Assess project requirements to pinpoint opportunities for value engineering and schedule acceleration.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams such as Business Development, Energy & Utilities, Product, Real Estate, Development, Technology, Site Operations, and Finance.

• Assist with permitting, utility interconnection coordination, and contractor engagement activities.

• Promote and enhance the electrification of transportation and TeraWatt’s role in establishing essential charging infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• Over 8 years of relevant experience in construction or project management.

• Proven experience in managing the development or construction of new infrastructure projects.

• High proficiency with project management tools and software such as Procore, Smartsheets, Confluence, TestFit, and Google Workspace.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Demonstrated experience in creating innovative, non-standard solutions when conventional construction methods or utility requirements pose challenges to a project's feasibility.

• Experience managing intricate civil or electrical infrastructure projects in areas such as:

• Site development and civil construction

• Electrical infrastructure or power systems

• Renewable energy or clean energy development

• EV charging or vehicle electrification

• Commercial or industrial renovations

• Power grid or energy infrastructure

• Freight, fleet transport, or logistics facilities

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Willingness to travel as required to job sites (anticipated up to 40%).
