Construction Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Oversee and refresh construction schedules, Gantt charts, and project documentation.

• Monitor daily stand-up notes and outcomes from weekly production meetings.

• Handle punch lists, work orders, closeout documents, and lien release waivers.

• Assist with permit and entitlement processes.

• Coordinate scopes of work and contract execution with trade partners.

• Gather W-9s and Certificates of Insurance; manage contractor agreements.

• Communicate directly with trade partners to ensure task completion and alignment with schedules.

• Aid in material procurement, purchase orders, and vendor sourcing.

• Process invoices from trade partners and reconcile financial records.

• Create project estimates, budgets, take-offs, and bid comparisons.

• Identify opportunities for cost savings and highlight recurring operational issues.

• Collaborate with architects and designers to keep specification sheets current.

• Support initiatives for process improvement and maintain operational metrics.

• Provide direct project assistance to the Director of Construction for all ongoing projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in construction project management or a related field.

• Strong proficiency in scheduling tools — Gantt charts and critical path method.

• Exceptional written communication skills and keen attention to detail.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and hold teams accountable.

• Stable internet connection and capability to work full-time during EST hours.

• ★ Experience with BuilderTrend.

• Knowledge of US-based construction documentation standards (W-9s, COIs, lien waivers).

• Previous experience supporting remote construction or development teams.
