This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Supervision of site activities and field leadership.
• Ensure a full-time presence on-site as dictated by the project timeline.
• Direct, manage, and oversee subcontractors, trades, and site personnel.
• Perform daily inspections of the site to check on progress, quality of work, safety, and cleanliness.
• Organize work sequencing and site logistics to prevent conflicts and delays.
• Plan and oversee outages, shutdowns, and system tie-ins in collaboration with facility operations.
• Keep precise daily logs, manpower reports, and records of construction activities.
• Offer insights on constructability, sequencing, and site conditions to aid in design and procurement planning.
• Assist in the quality assurance (QA) review of contract tender documents.
• Execute and uphold the Site Project Health & Safety Plan in line with applicable regulations.
• Supervise the construction of Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs).
• Serve as the primary on-site contact for the ESCO team.
• At least 5 years of experience in commercial building electrical, mechanical, or engineering construction management.
• Valid First Aid certification is mandatory before commencing work on-site.
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Project.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, alongside strong technical, computer, and presentation skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without requiring employer sponsorship.
• A valid provincial driver’s license in good standing is required.
• Capability to secure and maintain Federal Reliability Status security clearance (a condition of employment).
