This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead and manage the execution of repair and construction projects in the field, including follow-up repairs stemming from structural and infrastructure assessments.
• Act as the main point of contact in the field, ensuring alignment with the project scope, safety protocols, and client expectations.
• Organize and oversee daily field operations, which encompass access, scheduling, logistics, and the sequencing of repair activities.
• Monitor field progress, productivity, budgets, and schedule adherence, while also communicating the status, risks, and issues to project leadership.
• Assist in the execution of outages and shutdowns as required.
• Coordinate repair and construction efforts across structural, mechanical, civil, and asset integrity areas.
• Facilitate the delivery of comprehensive repair solutions from the initial scope development to project completion.
• Ensure that repair work is performed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Uphold Orbital and client safety policies throughout all inspection and repair processes.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Structural, Mechanical, or Civil), or an associate or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction coordination or industrial repair execution.
• Background in asset-intensive sectors such as power generation, oil and gas, refining, chemicals, manufacturing, steel, or mining.
• Strong leadership capabilities in the field, including the ability to manage teams, contractors, schedules, and logistics.
• Familiarity with inspection methodologies, construction practices, repair execution, and industrial safety regulations.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and construction documents.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office and project tracking or documentation software.
• Willingness and capability to travel to regional client locations.
