Construction Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance business applications that facilitate project delivery and support corporate operations.

• Modernize and support Excel/VBA-based tools by integrating them with SQL databases, Python applications, APIs, and other technologies.

• Develop and sustain database solutions, ETL processes, and system integrations that enhance data quality and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and provide effective technical solutions.

• Create and maintain reporting, dashboard, and data management solutions.

• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance activities to ensure dependable system performance.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation and materials for end-user support.

• Implement secure software development practices and contribute to initiatives for continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in developing business applications, software solutions, or data-driven systems.

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel, VBA, SQL, and Python.

• Experience in database development, ETL processes, APIs, and system integrations.

• Capability to analyze business requirements and convert them into effective technical solutions.

• Experience with software testing, troubleshooting, and the creation of technical documentation.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience in the construction, engineering, architecture, or AEC industry is preferred.
