Construction Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the gathering of requirements, design tasks, configuration, training, testing, and go-live processes for Acumatica Construction projects of medium complexity.

• Implement and provide support for Acumatica ERP for both new and existing clients, which includes data conversion and go-live assistance.

• Deliver comprehensive consulting estimates and project plans for implementation.

• Develop and sustain trusted advisor relationships with clients.

• Resolve business and functional challenges through negotiation with stakeholders.

• Track project budgets and ensure delivery within those parameters.

• Provide weekly updates on project status and proactively address issues with the director and project manager.

• Mentor and ensure quality assurance for junior team members, promoting adherence to implementation methodologies and best practices.

• Effectively manage work schedules and multiple activities to meet deadlines independently.

• Spearhead change management initiatives.

• Maintain a minimum utilization rate of 75% on an annual basis.

• Keep current with Acumatica certifications and pursue skill development across various modules.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, MIS, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of experience in Acumatica implementation and support, particularly focusing on the Construction module.

• Background in customer-facing business roles.

• Exceptional collaboration, communication, and facilitation skills.

• Professional demeanor complemented by strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team setting.

• Detail-oriented with robust analytical, numerical, planning, and reasoning skills.

• Adaptability to changing task assignments, priorities, and work environments.

• Willingness to travel up to 30% as required.

• Preferred Acumatica certifications.

• Additional experience in Acumatica Field Services is a plus.

• Experience with a consulting firm or reseller is advantageous.

• Prior experience as a controller or senior accountant is preferred.
