This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Evaluate intake requests for completeness and accuracy regarding client and matter details.

• Perform internal and external conflicts assessments utilizing Dentons' internal systems and external databases.

• Examine corporate structures and management profiles for conflict, sanctions, and AML evaluation.

• Recognize and escalate any legal, commercial, sanctions, or reputational conflicts in accordance with firm policies.

• Collaborate with Dentons offices across Europe and globally to secure necessary clearances.

• Facilitate new client onboarding and conduct ongoing monitoring refreshes for non-AML-regulated mandates.

• Support the preparation of engagement letters, outside counsel guidelines, and confidentiality agreements.

• Ensure accurate record-keeping and data management in line with firm policies.

• Execute information barriers and document security protocols.

• Work with team members to meet deadlines and tackle challenges effectively.

• Act as a liaison for Europe and Global Regions in relation to new business intake.

• Collaborate with Europe New Business Intake sub-teams for proper evaluation.

• Guarantee that submissions are reviewed and processed in accordance with regional and global policies.

• Assist in the application of regional frameworks and requirements.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in any field; a background in law, compliance, finance, or a related area is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Minimum of one year experience conducting conflict of interest, risk, and compliance reviews in an international law firm.

• Familiarity with IntappOpen is preferred.

• Proficiency in English (C1 level or higher) is crucial.

• Strong skills in research, analysis, and written communication.

• Capacity to present findings in a clear and concise manner.

• Meticulous attention to detail and a well-organized approach to workload and administration.

• Willingness to learn, intellectual curiosity, and a flexible, collaborative attitude.

• Ability to maintain composure under pressure and effectively manage competing priorities.

• Dedication to providing high-quality client service and professionalism.

• Ability to excel in an international, multicultural team environment.
