Configuration and Testing Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to comprehend business processes, pinpoint gaps and challenges, and convert business needs into clear, actionable requirements.

• Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions and assist in system configuration, implementation, and testing utilizing business-configurable tools.

• Discover opportunities for process enhancement, efficiency increase, and the establishment of scalable best practices.

• Develop and sustain productive relationships with clients, business stakeholders, and technical partners to aid operational efficiency.

• Act as a functional escalation point, assess issues, and coordinate suitable solutions.

• Work in conjunction with technology partners to align requirements with development efforts and ensure timely, accurate delivery.

• Guide and assist other Business Systems Analysts in gathering requirements, documentation, coordination, and analysis.

• Review completed work and project outcomes to uncover key insights and opportunities for improving future processes.

• Create, document, and advocate for tools, resources, and best practices that are aligned with Alight Leave Solutions' business objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in business analysis with proven proficiency in gathering, analyzing, and documenting complex business requirements.

• Familiarity with Absence & Disability, Leave of Absence, HR, employee benefits, and/or health insurance technology solutions.

• Demonstrated ability to provide detailed requirements for complex projects and support business transformation, process improvement, or automation initiatives.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Notepad++, and/or configuration and integration platforms.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

• Capability to collaborate effectively across client-facing, business, operational, and technical teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.

• Experience with Smart Sheets and JAVA is mandatory.

• IIBA CCBA and/or CBAP certification is advantageous.

• Work authorization in the employing country without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.

• Successful completion of a background check that may include education, employment, criminal, sanctions, credit, and/or drug screening.
