This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee events, workshops, and summits related to the Strategic Sprints held at VA facilities.
• Manage logistics, registration, both virtual and in-person setups, content creation, breakout sessions, agendas, and activities to engage participants.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and provide actionable recommendations.
• Develop Logistics Coordination plans and maintain Vendor Management documentation.
• Prepare materials for conference registration.
• Facilitate the coordination of all conference-related items with the VA team and advisory group, encompassing all phases: pre-planning, planning, execution, and post-conference.
• Organize onsite logistics and travel arrangements.
• Support the technology team and liaise with VA OIT as necessary for the effective use of the conference application.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• At least 6 years of experience in conference planning is essential.
• Prior experience in managing events for the federal government, both in-person and virtual, is necessary.
• Certification as a Meeting Planner (CMP) is mandatory, while certification as a Government Meeting Planner (CGMP) is preferred (can be substituted for CMP).
