This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Facilitate the technical relationship with designated customers, fostering and sustaining exceptional customer partnerships.
• Serve as a technical representative and initial provider of security services when interacting with customers.
• Examine security events through network, endpoint, and log data.
• Recognize correlations within client environments and assess whether behaviors are anticipated.
• Provide Arctic Wolf network and endpoint security solutions to clients.
• Oversee systems for security incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Enhance monitoring and visibility capabilities.
• Generate reports on incidents, vulnerabilities, and emerging trends.
• Independently manage intricate investigations within the scope of expertise.
• Collaborate with experts from other fields to appropriately resolve issues.
• Prepare and document security governance, standard operating procedures, and protocols.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and uphold security measures for customer environments.
• Observe systems for unusual behavior and implement preventative actions.
• Assess escalation requirements and coordinate with customers, as well as internal and external stakeholders.
• Train and educate staff on best practices for information system security.
• Participate in internal, vendor, and customer meetings via camera.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Relevant educational background may include a university degree, college diploma, or industry certifications.
• Fundamental understanding of standard business network requirements and basic networking troubleshooting.
• Basic comprehension of security concerns associated with common cloud-based infrastructure-as-a-service providers.
• Familiarity with regional privacy regulations.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management tools and processes.
• Basic insight into Business Continuity Planning.
• Basic knowledge of Disaster Recovery Planning and Incident Response principles.
• Basic understanding of Active Directory functionalities.
• Capability to audit and provide policy recommendations for common Endpoint Protection Platform (EPP) solutions.
• High-level knowledge of Group Policy features and INF security templates.
• Proficiency in reading and effectively utilizing Windows event and Sysmon logs.
• Understanding of common Windows ports and protocols and their proper security measures.
• Basic familiarity with firewall concepts.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in de-escalation and conflict resolution techniques.
• Ability to remain on camera during meetings while maintaining a professional environment.
• Capability to pass a criminal background check and employment verification.
