Concept Artist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Produce high-quality 2D illustrations for a sci-fi trading card game.

• Create artwork that showcases characters, environments, spaceships, vehicles, and advanced technologies.

• Take charge of your assigned illustrations from the initial sketch phase to the final delivery.

• Adhere to the established visual style of the project and follow the guidelines set by the Art Director.

• Ensure strong composition, visual clarity, lighting, and material rendering throughout your work.

• Collaborate closely with the Art Director and production team during the illustration process.

• Incorporate feedback and make revisions at various stages of production.

• Deliver artwork that meets production-ready quality standards and deadlines as agreed upon.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a 2D Artist, Concept Artist, or Illustrator.

• A robust portfolio that showcases high-quality, fully rendered illustrations.

• Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop and digital painting techniques.

• Proficiency in photobashing, 3D blocking, and hand painting techniques.

• Capability to integrate these techniques into cohesive and polished sci-fi illustrations.

• Strong grasp of composition, perspective, anatomy, lighting, color theory, and materials.

• Ability to create sci-fi characters, environments, vehicles, and hard-surface elements.

• Competence in independently producing illustrations from initial sketches to final refined artwork.

• Ability to follow established art direction and maintain visual consistency throughout the project.

• Previous experience with trading card games (TCG/CCG) or similar illustration projects is advantageous.

• CV including a link to your portfolio is required.
