Computer Vision Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Develop high-quality production-grade Python code for data pipelines, model training, inference services, and evaluation frameworks.

• Construct, test, deploy, and maintain production ML/CV features utilizing AI-first and AI-native engineering methodologies.

• Monitor and implement innovations in computer vision and deep learning to tackle real-world challenges in construction.

• Create and execute testing and validation protocols for ML-based products under construction site conditions.

• Collaborate with frontend, backend, data, infrastructure, and external development teams to deliver integrated features.

• Take ownership of the complete ML lifecycle, encompassing model design, training, evaluation, and deployment.

• Digitalize various stages of solar plant development, including design, construction, and operations.

• Collect field feedback, troubleshoot edge cases, and link model performance to real-world results.

• Promote cross-office collaboration among teams in Paris, engineering, product, and field operations globally.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related discipline — or equivalent professional or research experience.

• Demonstrated hands-on experience in building, testing, deploying, and maintaining production B2B applications using AI-first or AI-native engineering workflows.

• Proficiency with AI coding agents and tools that assist in AI development.

• Over 2 years of practical experience in developing and deploying AI/ML models and pipelines.

• Strong proficiency in Python.

• Good foundation in Computer Vision principles with applied experience in detection, segmentation, classification, or similar tasks.

• Familiarity with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.

• Experience with data annotation tools and workflows for labeling validation.

• MLOps experience, including tracking experiments, managing model versions, and overseeing deployment pipelines.

• Comfortable with remote work and collaborating asynchronously across different time zones.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Strong understanding of agile development practices and the complete software product lifecycle.
