Computer Programming, Online Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

• Guide and educate students effectively.

• Implement focused outreach initiatives and deliver instruction to specific groups.

• Assist students through posts, announcements, and email communications.

• Maintain regular communication with students about their engagement and performance.

• Foster authentic and meaningful relationships with students.

• Proficiency in both English and Portuguese (mandatory).

• Strong understanding of and dedication to the mission of BYU Pathway Worldwide.

• Flexibility to adapt to new processes, procedures, and technologies.

• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills.

• Demonstrated reliability and ability to meet deadlines with little supervision.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and video conferencing tools.

• Experience in online teaching/learning, particularly with at-risk learners (preferred).

• A bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of relevant work experience may be considered.

• Knowledge of Python, C#, or Java is essential.

• Advanced understanding of fundamental programming concepts.

• Familiarity with data structures and algorithms.

• Experience using version control systems, such as GitHub.

• Ability to articulate thoughts clearly in writing.
