Compliance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and ensure adherence to all product listing policies set by Amazon US.

• Manage relationships with Amazon compliance teams and address any issues related to listing suppression.

• Confirm that all product detail pages, A+ content, and advertising materials comply with Amazon guidelines and FTC regulations.

• Monitor updates to Amazon's Terms of Service.

• Direct compliance efforts for all international Amazon markets, including the UK, EU, CA, JP, AU, and MX.

• Handle country-specific labeling and packaging obligations.

• Create and sustain a comprehensive labeling matrix categorized by SKU and marketplace.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in e-commerce compliance, regulatory affairs, or marketplace operations.

• Prior experience specific to Amazon is highly desirable.

• Proficient understanding of compliance workflows in Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central, including listing health, product safety, and brand registry.

• Knowledge of US consumer product regulations, including CPSIA, Prop 65, FTC advertising guidelines, and FDA cosmetic standards.

• Practical experience with VAT, EPR, and customs compliance pertaining to cross-border e-commerce.

• Experience in the EU and UK markets is essential.

• Strong grasp of product labeling requirements across various regions.

• Exceptionally organized with meticulous attention to detail — nothing escapes your notice.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

• Outstanding written communication skills, capable of converting complex regulatory terminology into clear, actionable advice for compliance team members.

• Background in consumer products (beauty, personal care, health, or wellness) is a significant advantage.
