📋 Description

• Oversee intricate, time-sensitive compliance workflows (such as tracking regulatory deliverables, governing policy and documentation, facilitating audit/exam readiness, managing issue intake, and coordinating committee operations) to ensure tasks are completed accurately, consistently, and in accordance with internal controls and healthcare regulations.

• Act as a reliable partner to Compliance leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, consolidating information for informed decision-making, highlighting risks and obstacles, and promoting process enhancements that bolster regulatory audit preparedness.

• Direct the Compliance intake and workflow management (including presentations, requests, attestations, disclosures, incidents, and general inquiries), focusing on triage, prioritization, assignment, and follow-through; identify trends and propose upstream solutions.

• Manage compliance documentation practices, ensuring record accuracy, version control, standardized templates, and traceability of evidence in accordance with retention and internal control standards.

• Take the lead in coordinating audit, monitoring, and regulatory readiness activities by managing evidence request workflows, maintaining evidence libraries, organizing stakeholder responses, and raising concerns regarding timelines, completeness, or quality.

• Oversee the tracking of regulatory obligations by maintaining calendars, trackers, and dashboards; conduct quality checks on inputs, reconcile status with responsible parties, and deliver succinct leadership-ready reports.

• Coordinate comprehensive governance logistics for compliance committees and working groups: create agendas with leaders, compile and verify materials, document decisions and action items, and ensure closure through proactive follow-up and escalation.

• Facilitate policy and procedure governance by organizing drafting and review cycles, managing approvals, overseeing publication and distribution, and keeping an audit-ready history of versions and approvals.

• Generate and present routine and ad hoc compliance reports; analyze underlying factors, identify risks, and recommend corrective measures or process enhancements.

• Manage compliance communications and training logistics (including scheduling, rosters, follow-up on completions, and distribution of approved materials); track completion rates, identify gaps, and escalate instances of non-compliance.

• Exercise sound judgment in managing sensitive information; collaborate with Compliance, Privacy, and Security to uphold appropriate access controls, ensure least-privilege sharing, and secure transmission and storage of data and evidence.

• Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), job aids, checklists, and templates for compliance operations; spearhead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle times, enhance quality, and strengthen control effectiveness.

• Function as the primary point of contact for compliance operations processes; provide guidance to stakeholders on requirements and timelines, resolve issues independently when feasible, and escalate complex risks or decisions to leadership.

• Travel as necessary to attend and engage in onsite meetings.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Adhere to all policies and standards.
